Living in Japan, I have the luxury of accessing the many scooter magazines (zasshi) this moter-bike crazed country has to offer. Scooter or moped magazines are a rarity back in the States especially Hawaii. One of my favorite magazines here is "Moto Champu". Moto Champu (or Moto Champ) features a lot of bikes like the Honda Monkey, Dio ZX, and Yamaha Jog ZR. The content is all in Japanese but it's worth buying for the pictures alone.

I can read this. It's the Kanji for book. |
These stores are all over Japan. |
I usually try to get some of my magazines at the used bookstore called "Book-Off". Here you can find tons of used books, magazines, mangas, etc. If you can read a little Katakana, you can figure out where to look.
The red section is "Biiku"magazines. |
If your lucky, you can find past issue magazines for 100 yen (about a dollar) each. I was lucky enough to find these:
3 bucks for all three!! |
Just down the block from my house. |
But if you aren't looking for past issues and want to get the most current ones, a trip to the neighborhood bookstore is just the place to get them.
Like I said, they have all kinds of scooter and motorcycle magazines:

Get choke... |

Hmm..never saw this one before. |
But this is the one I came for. |

The good thing about buying it new is that sometimes it comes with some free goodies!!
