King Kong Movie Casting Call


The production company for the new King Kong movie is looking for old vintage RUNNING mopeds/scooters/motorcycles (pre 1980) for use in the movie.  They are looking for over 50 bikes!!  Scene will be shot Thursday night December 17, 2015 in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii.  Three of our Puch Maxis and my P200E Vespa already made the cut.  Money per bike is good too.

Lusito Lever Brake Light Switch Problem Solved!!

I used Lusito levers on both my Puch No. 5 Pinto build and Magnum build. I like them cause they are stylish and cheap. The only drawback is they don't come with a hole for brake light switches. Below his how I overcame this problem and keeping it super clean at the same time:

Treats Clutch: Worked

I always found the "Treats" version of ZA50 clutches not comparable as far as performance to a pair of well modified stock ZA50 clutches. I think the main reason for this is that the Treats clutches are too heavy and even the Malossi replacement springs can't overcome the weight. Inspired by a thread on Moped Army, I lightened both my clutches for my MetraKit Big Port Magnum project:
